Project Overview

This project involved the complete UI/UX design and front-end development for Rise Above Bullying, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe, confidential support for individuals experiencing bullying. The primary objective was to create a modern, highly accessible, and calming digital environment. Built using Angular and Tailwind CSS, the platform ensures seamless responsiveness across all devices. We integrated smooth GSAP animations to create an engaging, empathetic user experience without overwhelming the visitor. Key features include a secure contact portal tailored for various audiences (individuals, parents, educators, and workplaces), detailed resource hubs, and clear call-to-actions for community support and donations. The website is heavily optimized for search engines (SEO) targeting key phrases such as "anti-bullying support," "confidential bullying help," "mental health NGO," and "cyberbullying resources," ensuring those in need can easily find the platform through organic search.

How we built the experience

Discovery & Planning

Our discovery phase centered on understanding the highly sensitive nature of the Rise Above Bullying NGO's mission. We conducted comprehensive stakeholder interviews and user journey mapping to structure a digital experience that feels safe, confidential, and easily navigable. The primary objective was to architect a platform that immediately establishes trust with individuals seeking anti-bullying support, while also providing clear pathways for parents, educators, and potential partners to access vital mental health resources.

Design & Development

We applied empathetic UI/UX design principles, utilizing a calming color palette (brand-beige and brand-blue) and warm typography to create a welcoming environment. The front-end was engineered using Angular and Tailwind CSS, ensuring exceptional mobile responsiveness and fast load times. To elevate the user experience without being distracting, we integrated smooth GSAP scroll animations. This approach guides visitors naturally through the cyberbullying resources and support networks, maintaining a secure and engaging atmosphere.

Prior to deployment, the platform underwent rigorous accessibility and performance testing to ensure seamless functionality across all devices and browsers. We implemented robust on-page SEO strategies targeting keywords like "confidential bullying help," "NGO support," and "mental health resources" to maximize organic reach. The final launch delivered a highly secure, scalable, and optimized website, empowering the organization to effectively expand its digital outreach and community impact.
