Project Overview

Arabic Village is a specialized school serving students with disabilities through individualized learning plans, tailored resources, and a supportive inclusive environment. This project delivered a centralized digital platform that streamlines both educational and administrative operations—covering student records, IEP tracking, staff scheduling, reporting, and internal coordination. By replacing manual processes with structured workflows and accessible documentation, the system helps the school maintain compliance, improve operational efficiency, and support better student outcomes through data-driven oversight.

How we built the experience

Discovery & Planning

We mapped the school’s core operational needs around special education requirements, focusing on student record structure, IEP lifecycle management, staff and therapist scheduling, and audit-ready reporting. Planning prioritized compliance constraints, role-based access for staff, and workflows that reduce administrative load while improving cross-team coordination. Success metrics were aligned with measurable time savings, documentation completeness, and scheduling utilization.

Design & Development

The platform was designed to be practical for daily use by school administration and specialized staff. Development focused on centralizing student files, digitizing IEP tracking and progress documentation, and enabling efficient scheduling for therapists, aides, and resources. In-app workflows and notifications supported internal coordination for recurring tasks such as IEP preparations, reporting, and incident documentation—reducing missed steps and improving consistency across teams.

Testing & Optimization

Testing ensured data accuracy, permission control, and reliable reporting for mandatory documentation. Scheduling flows were validated to reduce conflicts and improve utilization of specialized staff and equipment.
