Orient House - دار الشرق

For Orient House for Development & Construction (OHDC), we began by mapping how a large Abu Dhabi–based construction and development company presents its experience to government entities, developers and consultants. We reviewed the company’s history, scale and project types—towers, residential complexes, villas, warehouses and public buildings—to understand what decision-makers care about most: proven delivery, safety and long-term reliability. From there we defined a clear site architecture around Home, About, Services, Projects and Contact, with the goal of letting visitors quickly see who OHDC is, what sectors they operate in and what landmark projects they’ve delivered. We aligned page content with OHDC’s core values—integrity, quality and commitment—to ensure that every section supports the brand’s reputation in Abu Dhabi and across the wider UAE.

The website experience was designed as a modern corporate platform that feels serious enough for large-scale tenders but still visually engaging. The home page hero highlights OHDC’s positioning as a trusted construction and development partner, supported by concise copy, a strong skyline/architecture visual and a primary call-to-action leading into services and projects. The About page focuses on the company’s story, leadership and values, while Services breaks down key capabilities such as general contracting, development, infrastructure and MEP in a structured, easy-to-scan layout. The Projects section was built as a visual grid with filters by sector (residential, education, commercial, civic, infrastructure, etc.), allowing visitors to explore key references and understand the scale and diversity of OHDC’s portfolio. The interface is bilingual and responsive so stakeholders can browse comfortably on desktop, tablet or mobile.

Before launch, we carried out full QA across desktop and mobile to ensure smooth navigation between About, Services and Projects, and to verify that filters, project detail pages and contact forms all behave correctly. We optimized imagery for fast loading despite the use of large project photos and architectural renders, and fine-tuned headings, meta tags and internal links to strengthen OHDC’s visibility for branded and sector-related searches in the UAE construction market. We also validated that each project page clearly surfaces the project name, location, sector and high-level scope so that consultants and procurement teams can quickly evaluate OHDC’s experience and short-list the company for upcoming tenders.
