Project Overview

Basalt Stone Business Manager is a centralized operational platform built specifically for basalt stone companies to manage the full workflow from quarry to customer delivery. It replaces fragmented spreadsheets and disconnected tools by integrating inventory, procurement, orders, CRM, and logistics into a single source of truth. With real-time tracking for basalt blocks and finished products, plus management dashboards for performance and bottleneck visibility, the platform helps teams reduce errors, speed up fulfillment, and improve decision-making across the entire supply chain.

How we built the experience

Discovery & Planning

We analyzed the stone industry’s operational flow and identified key friction points: inventory silos between quarry and finished goods, delayed order updates, manual supplier follow-ups, and limited visibility for management. Based on stakeholder roles (foremen, sales, logistics, managers), we defined the essential modules and mapped end-to-end journeys from stock intake to delivery confirmation. The planning phase resulted in a scalable architecture built around real-time inventory accuracy, workflow automation, and role-based access.

Design & Development

The product was designed with an interface tailored to stone-industry workflows, enabling quick daily usage for operational teams while giving managers a high-level overview through dashboards. Development focused on integrating core business modules into one platform: quarry stock tracking, finished goods inventory, order processing, client management, supplier communication, and delivery status tracking. Automation was built into key actions inventory updates, order status progression, and standardized communications reducing repetitive administrative work and improving consistency.
