Welcome to Shrimp Nation, your ultimate destination for mouthwatering shrimp dishes inspired by coastal kitchens around the world. From buttery garlic shrimp and spicy Cajun boils to crispy popcorn shrimp and creamy seafood pastas, we serve up bold, unforgettable flavors in every bite. Whether you're craving a quick seafood snack or a full feast, our menu offers something for every shrimp lover. Our Process

How we built the experience

Discovery & Planning

For Shrimp Nation, we started by understanding the brand’s promise of “Deep from the Sea”—fresh, high-quality seafood in a casual, family-friendly atmosphere. We mapped the core journeys for visitors: checking the menu, finding the nearest branch across Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain and Egypt, and learning more about the brand story. We reviewed existing communication, competitor seafood concepts in the region, and defined a simple structure around five key pages: Home, Menu, About, Branches and Contact. From this, we created a content and UX plan focused on speed (few clicks to reach the menu or nearest branch), strong food photography, and clear calls-to-action for both diners and franchise inquiries.

Design & Development

The website was designed around bold seafood visuals, a clean white background and a dominant hero section that immediately introduces the Shrimp Nation experience and invites users to “Check the Menu” or “Who We Are”. We used a card-based layout to present menu categories such as main dishes, fried dishes, sides, kids’ meals and sweets & drinks, supported by close-up images of signature items like shrimp, crab and lobster to stimulate appetite and make choices intuitive. The Branches page was structured as a country selector with visually consistent branch cards linked to Google Maps, making it easy for guests to locate the nearest restaurant. The interface is bilingual (English / Arabic), mobile-first and fully responsive, so users can comfortably browse on phones while on the go.

Testing & Optimization

Before launch, we tested the site across modern browsers and a range of mobile and tablet breakpoints to ensure smooth navigation, fast loading of imagery and stable performance on slower connections. We validated every key flow: opening the menu categories, switching languages, exploring branches and following map links, and submitting the contact/franchise form. Content and metadata were optimized to highlight Shrimp Nation as a leading seafood restaurant chain in the region, with clear page titles and descriptions to support search visibility. We also optimized images and internal linking so that visitors can move quickly from inspiration (food photography and gallery) to action (viewing the menu or finding a nearby branch), helping the brand turn online traffic into in-store visits.
